Mark - Hadn't thought about it that way. Those using fightpad's and fightstick's will def. have an advantage here...

I also want to add when you go into a hyper-combo move with your character's while being in the 14:9 aspect ratio (Widescreen Mode) it looks very odd, especially with characters who's Hyper-Combo's fill the whole screen like Ruby Heart and Jin. I just leave mine on the 4:3 aspect ratio (Full Screen).

Law - Dude they got deals like that going?! I'm a be on the look out for Fallout 3 then. That's a pretty crazy deal, esp for SFIV...

If you get this game with the intent of playing Ranked online be warned... Rage Quitters are everywhere...

So bloody frustrating... And Capcom hasn't implemented anything against Rage Quitters either... No auto win for the player who didn't quit, no penalty, no nothin...

Oh man that sucks that people can do that and get away with it! hate when people quit half way through a game. If you are gonna play play till the finish. When I first started playing online there were games I got brutally massacred in but thats the only way you learn.... from mistakes and practice....

Oh and you gotta get fallout 3 man!!! That is the greatest game out.... I am still playing it at the moment and have to say it is the best money I have ever spent on a game (But I did get sucked in and spend a heap on microsoft points to get the add ons as well ) emoticon Now that I think of it the more I get sucked into this game the more i spend on it.....

Yeah, I play through, get my ass handed to me, THEN I chuck my controller across the room (can't help it if I disconnect then, but at least it's after the fight) emoticon

Fall out 3 aye!? i bought it....while it was a very well put together game and they did an awsome job making it all together, i couldnt get into it. I tried my best ubt it was just way to boring for me. It dragged and dragged so much that i just couldnt stand it. Back in the day before i played action packed games like Halo 2, Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5, etc...i just cant get into a game that spends more than an hour at a time talking. Ill play Mass Effect because after the 20minutes of talking you get a big action level that lasts 1hr. With Fallout 3 i was searching and talking for 1hr+ and then my battles lasted like 15minutes.....i just couldnt keep it after that so i returned it. I do think the realness of it is awsome though. Radiation poisoning, weapon damages/repairs, drug addictions and carma were really cool.

I don't like the level 20 limit (for the base game). From many descriptions, it reminds me of Hellgate London (which I do have for the PC), and with that game, as with any game with RPG aspects, I like to level emoticon Limiting me to 20 levels for the entire game? Maybe I'll rent it first... or see if there's a demo.

Re: Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Officially Announced!!

I still have my MvsC 2 game for PS2. I got it for 20 dollars at circuit city about a year after it came out. emoticon

I enjoyed it the first 1 year, then got bored of it. It was a really fun game to play at first. I was going to buy one for my friend but ebay sellers were chucking them for hundreds of dollars which I thought was ridiculous. But then I learned that Marvel and Capcom no longer worked on the license deal and dropped it from being manufactured again. So its supposed to be a rare item now. HA!
Games aren't exactly collectible. Sorry.

But the gougers have to make money somehow and what better way than to capitalize the rarity.

And now look. LOL. They releasing it again.
I wish I was as excited as you guys about it. Was fun to play. But after completing it and being turned off by the lack of any animated sequenced endings, I just didnt care for it anymore.

My favorite characters were always Psylocke, Wolverine and Ryu.

And you know what I hated?

The announcer on the game.

"Oh my GAWD, I nearly had a heart attack!! That was Fantasstic!"

Eeeesh! lol

wow man. yeah i spent 20mins at the start in the citadel before i did my first mission on Mass Effect.
Then i went back to the citadel and talked for 20mins and the did my next mission. I know its easy to spend 5hrs in the citadel at a time but i made sure i didnt otherwise id chuck it out the window. But even with the first part of the citadel, there is action. Choras den shoot out, the goons bothering the doctor, the battle to save the crazy looking female (cant remember the race right now) and more.

Lol @ Nar about the announcer. When you select a character, "Just as I expected!"

Yeah I took a lil' dif of an approach. I didn't stick to the main story, I talked to every character possible and they kept sending me to meet more ppl and do more stuff lol. There were a few shoot outs as you said though that were def. fun.

Can't wait for Pt. 2!!!
