How should I send sketch cards?

Been wondering. Should I send them through regular mail or through UPS (or the like).

Another question I wanted to ask [sign in to see URL] was thinking of purchasing a magnifying lamp. Is that a good idea?

Re: How should I send sketch cards?

Personally:

I put them in a penny sleeve (cheap plastic holder), then into a top loader (hard plastic holder), then I put them in a CD mailer (about 5"x5"), put a piece of comic book backing board on each side, and send it first class mail. If there are more than 3 cards, then I put it in a plastic 10 card holder, and send it in a bubble mailer (with additional foam pieces to keep the case from sliding around). At that point, I'll usually send it insured, but still first class mail. Anything more than first class is basically something extra that the client decides on (and pays for generally). This is especially true if you don't charge for shipping emoticon

Well for starters, you never ever send through the mail, phshhh!, come on, I mean, I alway ALWAYS get a clothes hanger clip, put it on my back tire of my bike and ride it all the way to the customers address! Now that's how I do it emoticon
