whats your favorite ink??
my favorite black ink is.
mix alittle less than 1/2 ounce of Bombay blue, add about 5 droppers of calligraphic gold or acrylic silver, then fill it the rest of the way with an even amount of PH Martins hi carb and Winsor Newton black india ^_^, its perfect, its got a slightly glossy look like velvet, and thins with a cool black with a bit of a glimmer. its also completely waterproof.
whats your favorite ink?

Re: whats your favorite ink??
Well you're quite the alchemist, aren't you?
My favorite is the Windsor and Newton india ink, but that's always been hard to come by (I have two half ounce jars stowed away just in case). But normally, I'll use Speedball for black and white inking (since it's not insolvent, and markers will cause it to bleed, but when inking a comic page for example, it's a nice, rich black. For stuff I'm going to color, I use Pelikan black drawing ink, which is also nice and rich, but also stands up to markers without bleeding.
