Re: osama bin laden

I will say I don't think celebrating death makes any sense whatsoever. What does it change? Killing him doesn't change 9/11. Kind of like when we killed Sadam and his country was celebrating his death and praising the American soldiers...Killing this dude will only bring out another terro-idiot minion in my opinion.

As for if he's really dead, that's questionable. They buried him at sea they say so there won't be any terrorist shrine sites. But I haven't seen any pictures of the body. Sadam's execution was actually filmed.

As for America not interfering in other countries war problems, I'm not sure I agree with us just sitting out. If we hadn't of intervened in the Hitler/Nazi situation an whole race of people could of been erased as if they never existed.

I'm sorry about what happened in your country Ivana, I have an boss who's from Bolivia who said her family also had to escape. I wish there was some sort of help for every country that gets attacked like that. Blowing up each other over what?? Land?? Food?? Greed is what it all comes down to.

I doubt world peace will ever be accomplished, but sitting idly by knowing we can assist when something terrible happens isn't an option. Japan just got hit by the earthquake, Haiti not to far back. We assist them when they are in need of help. What's the difference? The fact that it's an natural disaster instead of man made? The results are still the same, people died, countries destroyed, rebuilding/restructure needs to be put into place. If we just sat back and were like, well that sucks, best of luck to you... The world would be enraged.

In general America take's the side of the country that's getting jacked. If we weren't backing South Korea, North Korea would just take over. We know they've got nukes there. And that's the problem with an dictatorship, first South Korea, then whats next? China? Japan? The rest of Asia? It'd be Hitler's 3rd Reich all over again.

i agree with you Artsta, good points, it's just that i wish (and i believe all you wish) we can actually help each other, but sometimes what's called help it's something very different...for instance (i know i keep pushing with this lol) what's called "help" in this Libia situation is not really help, going there and bombing innocent people is exactly the same what they did without your "help", only it's much worse because it's involving another country (your country) which has nothing to do with their problem and little by little couses a bigger problem involving so many other countries...etc, "help" is in todays world a little strange term, very rarely what it really has to be...
helping in natural disasters is absolutely a must, in this Japan case money and other help should be donated directly to the Japanese organizations, if i could go there as a part of some rescue team i would go immediately, i was actually checking the embassy if they're sending some medical teams...

Unfortunately the US tends to be in a "damned if they do, damned if they don't" situation quite often.

If we ignore the issue, much of the world complains about the US not caring and being generally complacent. If we go in to help, we're accused of interference and attempting to push a US-centric agenda in other countries.
