Well, I'm not going to be around much at all for the next couple months. Got a part time job working for a friend, but it's soon to be full time. He owns a moving company and he's putting me in charge of his "packing" crew.
And I'm also going to focus on working on developing my comic again. Decided that sketch cards are not my thing anymore. They served their purpose in getting my work acknowledged. But I think it's time for bigger things. I'll still do a few here and there, but after I finish the current commissions and sets I'm obligated to do, I'm out. They're killing my eyes for one thing. And I'm not feeling any more passion for it. I think if I was able to work on my own thing, then my passion would come back.
So, it's on to my own book, and also larger pieces of things that I like, that I also think others will like, that I can reproduce. I'll still do a sketch card or two but it will have to be for something really special!
And I'm also focusing on ME! I've got a messed up right knee and I'm mega out of shape! So, I'm talking to my physical therapist and trainer friends, and we're getting my knee fixed, building some muscle and melting some fat! I've realized that my body has held me back from doing so many things. I'm not going to let it hold me back anymore! I'm going to be 41 in July. It's not too late!!
So, if I "vanish" from time to time, not just from here, but Scoundrels, deviantart, twitter, and facebook, you know what I'll be up to.

Jen, that's awesome that you are seeking bigger things! That's what it's all about, finding your passion and keeping that flame-a-burnin' even if that means jumping to bigger and better things ( which is rarely a bad thing )
I think I can speak for all of us here in saying we support you 100% on your new path. Now about this 41 thing.....are you nuts, that's not even a half way point in my book! You have so much ahead of you and with that positive attitude about getting physically back in working order, well that's just means that you'll be enjoying life for a very long time.
Can't wait to see what you have on tap with your work. Please drop in and show us a little of your WIP's
