I REMEMBER!
I had to dig to find my username but that was only half the battle. The other half was the invisible password. Well, I remembered it!
Now if I can remember where I left those fish....

Re: I REMEMBER!
Well it's nice to have you back. I'm hoping some day people will want to step away from all those noisy social media outlets and come together in this cozy and quaint little hut, where we can all respectfully enjoy each other's company and share our interests, special abilities and pov on all things entertainment.

It seems like the forum has lost critical mass. I think a lot of people are still checking in, but there isn't enough happening to keep them here. Also, it's difficult to contribute to topics when they move slower than a one-legged dog on tranquilizers.
I saw a thing the other day where you can buy 4,000 facebook friends for $5, or one friend to flirt with you for 5 days!
Maybe you could do something like that too Nar: hire some cheap Chinese labour to hang-out here and flirt with people to get the topics moving again!

Re: I REMEMBER!
It's Guy Pearce, from the film Memento. Which is one of the most awesome films ever! Unless you've already seen it.
If I kept losing my memories, I would get a tattoo backwards across my chest that read: "Go watch memento". Then I could enjoy it all over again for the first time every day.

HAHAH!
I'd pay to see that. Err...
No, but I agree with you. It's really tough to compete with social media at this time. I do still have my lurkers who depend on my web page for personal updates but I always recommend to just get an account set up on FB, even if it's private just to keep up.
One thing I wish this forum had, was the option to receive an email notification for every time a person responds to a certain topic. Sometimes I'll forget to come back here and not realize someone commented or responded to a post I made.
I guess if we could come up with interesting topics to talk about?
You guys seem more well versed in the happenings of our world than I am.
Isn't it crazy how much time has passed since the times we were all highly active on this board (and any other board for that matter)??
How old are you guys now? LOL..alright maybe you don't have to answer that if you don't want to.
A lot has changed in my world since the past 4 years. I'm a father of two now but I'm not married yet and the kids aren't technically mine (yet). They belong to my lady. But we've all been living together for some time now and they call me dad so I'm dad now. I love em' to death and I definitely treat them as my own just as much as they accepted me as their true father. Their real biological dad allegedly abandoned them when they were still very young and was getting caught up in a web of trouble, including drug use. He just disappeared and never turned back, I guess. But all the better in my opinion.
Under my wings, I will take care of these kids right.
I never knew who my real dad was and grew up somewhat fatherless, so in a way, I can relate with them.
I'll tell ya though... Juggling this new life with that of pursuing a successful career and even just maintaining my current status is no walk in the park.
Right now, as I type this while sipping on coffee with vanilla cream, everyone's asleep and I'm working on 3 pieces of art which will go towards my rent and a birthday gift for my lady. I keep trying to save money in order to buy some new casting equipment and banners for shows...but each month I'd be lucky to have anything left over for art materials, lol.
Nah, but I'm very aware of how fortunate I am and I pray nothing terrible happens to destroy what I'm already struggling to maintain. A healthy home surrounded by love, aaaawwwwwwww!! Alright enough of this mushy shhhut yo mouth!
What are you guys up to?
Oh and Mark, do you have any good leads for sketch book production? I know... I have no good answer for why I haven't ever attempted one years ago. I kept waiting to collect content I could publish and just forgot all about it.
I do want to put a few out however.
Alright, I better get on back to work. Love you guys. Talk soon and don't be a stranger!
