Yikes! Please either link to the full image, or paste the panels individually? It's throwing the page form all out of whack.

As for the pages themselves? Way too many big splash pages and action (punching) sequences. Editors actually only one to see maybe 1-2 pages of action. They're more interested in you being able to set the mood, and tell the story (ie the non-action page stuff). They would quickly glance at the pages and toss them out, no matter how well detailed, if the submission is all/mostly action (and having more than one splash page in a submission? HUGE no-no. There are sample scripts designed for submissions online. Try to find one of those. They generally contain all the elements you need to show.

Also, and this is the big bummer: DC does not accept unsolicited submissions AT ALL. You should still do one for practice and portfolio of course, but if you try sending it to DC, it will be returned unopened if you're lucky, or trashed outright, with maybe a letter stating that they don't accept submissions.

thanks Mark. I was not intending on sending the comic in. Appreciate the feed back. I had a feeling that too many splash pages would be over kill. I'll get back to work and post more as it's finished. Again thank you for your help. emoticon
