Hi. On Scoundrel, Tony Perna recommended Krylon Crystal Clear.

Re: Spray to keep Pencils from Smudging??
Took both of your ideas and picked up the Krylon Matte Finish.
About spraying... how do ya'll go about that?? My problem is I'm in Arizona... My room is definitely not well ventilated. And the garage isn't really a option except for really late at night since it's almost always above 90' in there.
It's not a big piece at all. So would it be ill advised to use it this one time in my room?

Re: Spray to keep Pencils from Smudging??
Never use it indoors. It stinks like crazy, and even though it dries odorless, spraying it inside will keep it around a lot longer.
Tape the art to a piece of cardboard, step outside and spray it lightly from a distance (too close and it'll wet the paper). Let it dry (you can bring it inside to dry, the smell goes away quickly when you spray it outside).
You can come back to it a few hours later and spray it again outside. (just touch the paper a bit, make sure it's fully dry, no moistness or stickiness on the page).
How many times you want to spray it is up to you (and how important you deem the work, and what you're doing with it). But 2 to 3 times should be plenty for most pieces.

Re: Spray to keep Pencils from Smudging??
I chased my wife out of the house once spraying cards indoors. She spent the night at her mom's.
Hey, I am 1/2 Polish!
